Creating a LinkedIn Company Page for Your Small Business
LinkedIn is a powerful marketing tool for any business, particularly businesses that operate in the Business-2-Business (B2B) realm. LinkedIn will allow your business to get in touch with professionals and other businesses to collaborate and even sell your products! However, the first step in getting started is actually creating your LinkedIn page!
*Note: Before you can begin to create a company page, you must create your own personal LinkedIn profile.
To get started:
- At the top of your homepage, there is a button that says Interests. Scroll down that list and select Companies.
- On the right side of the page, click on Create
- Here you must enter the company’s official name and the email account you want associated with the business.
- Click Continue and enter the rest of your company’s information.
Congrats! In just a few steps you have created your company LinkedIn page! You next steps should be to start searching and reaching out to your various contacts to create your business’ network. This will gain your business access to the contacts of your contacts and allow you to start growing and expanding your business’ presence!
