How to Write an Awesome Newsletter!

Sending out a weekly or even just a monthly newsletter can help your business stay in touch with clients, engage you clients with your business, and help you stay at the top of your clients minds. By taking the time to write a strong an compelling newsletter to email out, you can easily and cheaply drive sales from your existing clientele. Here’s a few ideas of what you should include to make your clients want to open your newsletter!

 

1. Offer Deals and Promotions!

 

First and foremost, you should include information about any deals or promotions you are currently running. Include deals that are going to attract the attention of your audience and make them want to click on your email and open up the newsletter. This deal could be anything from tips and tricks from you or a 15% off coupon. Create strong calls to actions that will entice your clients to want to take an action, such as Download Now! or Click Here!

 

2. Customer Referrals!

 

With your newsletter you should also be building the credibility of your business. There are numerous ways of doing this, but one of the best ways is to include customer referrals or success stories. Ask some of your favorite customers for a written referral and ask their permission to include their referral in your newsletter. Seeing the successes of other customers is a great way to build this credibility of your business and will also gives potential customers someone they can contact to find out more about your business.

 

3. Events Calendar!

 

If your business does regular events or special promotions, your newsletter is a great way to promote those events to your clientele base. Add a calendar of events to keep your clients engaged. You can also drive your newsletter subscribes by creating events only available to your subscribers. Creating these events and promoting them through your newsletter is a great way to both build your newsletter subscribe lists and drive new sales!

 

4. Highlight Charitable Giving and Events

 

Another great way of building your business’ credibility is to highlight any charitable giving your business does. This will show that your business cares about the community and those less fortunate around you. A customer is much more likely to buy from a business that visibly gives regularly to the community than a business that does not.

 

5. Create Personal Relationships!

 

Finally, a great way to create personal relationships with your clientele is to have your clients and customers get to know your business on personal level through your newsletter. Let your customers get to know you and your family on a personal level. If you can make your customers view you not only as business, but as a person and a friend, you are much more likely to develop a personal relationship with them. Personal relationships with your customers lead to repeat customers and then advocates for your business!
